News Stories
These news stories are included on the Educational DVD to share with
children/students, when they can learn about the role the media play in bringing important stories to light. In addition, children can find out more about what happened to Tommy as a puppy, see how justice was served, learn the value of companion animal adoption, and hear about the book as it received news media (television) attention.
Note: Though some of the footage is graphic, many educators have chosen to allow students to view the videos fully in order for students to gain more knowledge about the reality of animal abuse and the good that can occur thanks to the kindness of strangers, and to fuel Q&As.
